BAM Red Dots Exhibition

My personal collection, Back to Eden, was proudly displayed on the front wall of One Art Space during this dynamic group exhibition. This dual-body collection featured vibrant string art animals and expressive scribble portraits—each piece inspired by the Book of Genesis and the spiritual journey of returning to divine alignment.

Back to Eden explored the harmony of creation and the emotional depth of faith, pairing intricate threadwork with raw, scribbled linework to invite viewers into a space of reflection, prayer, and reconnection.

During this powerful group exhibition, I had the pleasure of showcasing "The Recovery Collection"—a hyperrealistic string art series featuring oversized chess pieces. This body of work was created as a tribute to the unexpected comfort I found in learning to play chess during my recovery from a second spinal surgery.

Each piece represents resilience, strategy, and the quiet strength required to heal. The collection reflects not only my personal struggle, but the beauty that can emerge from pain, stillness, and transformation.
